Andrew Eldredge-Martin was born in Elmira, New York in 1979. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Haverford College and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is a member of the bar in the State of Wisconsin.

Since 2004, Andrew has been a Democratic political staffer and strategist, advising federal, state, and local candidates.

In 2004, Eldredge-Martin got his start in professional politics as one of two overnight press staffers in the Kerry-Edwards headquarters in Washington, DC.

In 2006, Andrew managed now-U.S. Congressman Chris Carney's upset victory in Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District. When Carney was sworn into office in January 2007, he became the first Democrat to represent the 10th District of Pennsylvania since 1961.

In January 2007, Eldredge-Martin joined Leviathan Strategy, a Democratic media & mail consulting firm based in Scranton, PA. In 2007, Leviathan's candidates won 7 of 9 races, including upset wins in the Lackawanna County (PA) Commissioners Democratic primary and general elections, defeating the Republican incumbent majority commissioners by a 2-1 margin.

In 2008, Eldredge-Martin managed Bob Lord's campaign for Congress in Senator John McCain's home congressional district against Republican incumbent Rep. John Shadegg. Despite originally not being considered a competitive district, the campaign was named to the second wave of the DCCC's Red-to-Blue list of top national targets and attracted over $2 million in DCCC independent expenditures. In addition, DailyKos named the campaign to their Orange-to-Blue target list. In total, the campaign raised $1.9 million, including over $600,000 in online donations.

In 2009, Andrew managed Doug Pike's challenger's campaign in the DCCC-targeted 6th District of Pennsylvania. Pike lost a close race, 51% to 49%, to his Democratic Party-endorsed primary opponent. During the race, Pike gained the support of over 25 labor unions, including the AFL-CIO, SEIU and AFSCME and ran a large field operation knocked on over 43,000 doors.

Currently, Eldredge-Martin is a Senior Strategist at The Strategy Group, a strategic consulting and direct mail firm, in the Washington, DC office. He currently works with Democratic caucus organizations and state & municipal candidates across the country.

Andrew grew up in rural Bradford County, Pennsylvania on a dirt road, two miles outside of a town of 500 people.
